Overview

Nepal is home to two of the most dramatic bungee jumps in the world. The Last Resort's bungee at Bhote Koshi — Nepal's original, opened in the early 2000s — sends you off a suspension bridge 160 metres above the roaring Bhote Koshi River gorge, on the road toward the Tibet border. Further west, the Kushma Bungee Jump in Parbat district offers an equally dramatic leap into a forested Himalayan valley. Both are short, intense, fully guided experiences — a safety briefing, professional harnessing, and a few seconds of freefall that stay with you a lot longer than the jump itself.

Frequently asked questions

How high is the Bhote Koshi bungee jump?

The jump platform sits roughly 160 metres above the Bhote Koshi River, making it one of the highest bungee jumps in Asia.

Is bungee jumping in Nepal safe?

Both the Bhote Koshi and Kushma sites operate with internationally inspected equipment, certified jump masters and a mandatory safety briefing before every jump.

Can I combine bungee jumping with rafting or canyoning?

Yes — Bhote Koshi is a hub for adventure sports, so bungee jumping pairs naturally with white-water rafting or canyoning on the same river system in a single day trip.
