Experience the dramatic landscapes of Ladakh on an ambitious two-peak Himalayan climbing expedition. Beginning in New Delhi, the journey flies into Leh for essential acclimatization before entering the spectacular Markha Valley. The expedition then climbs toward Kang Yatse II, followed by a second summit objective on Dzo Jongo East, combining high-altitude trekking, technical climbing, remote mountain camps and Ladakhi culture.     After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to New Delhi International Airport for your onward international flight. 01International Arrival in New Delhi

Welcome to India! Our representative will meet you at New Delhi International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your international journey. Your expedition team will provide an initial briefing and review the upcoming Ladakh adventure.

02Fly New Delhi to Leh | Gateway to Ladakh

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your scenic flight from Delhi to Leh. As the aircraft approaches Ladakh, spectacular Himalayan peaks and barren mountain landscapes appear below. Upon arrival at Leh, our team will transfer you to the hotel. Complete rest is recommended today to allow your body to begin adjusting to the high altitude.

03Leh Acclimatization & Cultural Exploration

Today is dedicated to acclimatization. After a relaxed morning, enjoy gentle sightseeing around Leh, visiting Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and the traditional Leh Market. There is no strenuous activity today. Your climbing leader will monitor your condition and brief you about altitude safety, hydration and the expedition ahead.

04Acclimatization Hike & Expedition Preparation

A gentle acclimatization walk around Leh provides further exposure to altitude without excessive physical stress. Later, the team conducts a detailed expedition briefing and checks climbing equipment, clothing and personal gear. This is an important preparation day before entering the remote mountains.

05Leh → Chilling → Skiu

Our private vehicle takes us from Leh towards Chilling, the starting point of our trekking journey. We then begin walking along the Markha Valley trail toward Skiu. The landscape gradually changes from the urban surroundings of Leh to dramatic Himalayan valleys, rivers and traditional villages.

06Skiu → Markha Village

Today we continue deeper into the beautiful Markha Valley. The trail follows the river through narrow valleys, rocky landscapes and traditional Ladakhi settlements. The day offers wonderful opportunities to experience local village life and the unique Trans-Himalayan environment.

07Markha → Hankar → Nimaling Approach

The trail becomes more demanding as we gain elevation. We pass traditional settlements and continue toward the upper Markha Valley, with increasingly impressive views of the surrounding mountains. The team maintains a steady pace to support acclimatization.

08Markha valley-Trek to Nimaling

Today we reach Nimaling, one of the most spectacular high-altitude grazing areas in Ladakh. The open valley is surrounded by impressive Himalayan peaks, including the Kang Yatse massif. We take time to rest, hydrate and prepare mentally and physically for the climbing section

09Nimaling → Kang Yatse II Base Camp

Today marks the transition from trekking to expedition mode. We leave Nimaling and move toward Kang Yatse II Base Camp. Upon arrival, the climbing team establishes camp and conducts a safety briefing. The magnificent Kang Yatse massif dominates the surrounding skyline.

10Base Camp Acclimatization & Rest

A dedicated rest and acclimatization day at Base Camp. Light walks around camp help maintain movement while allowing the body to adjust to the altitude. The climbing leader reviews the summit strategy, weather conditions and safety procedures.

11Climbing Training & Technical Preparatio

Today is focused on practical climbing preparation. Depending on conditions, the team practices crampon techniques, ice-axe use, rope movement, ascending/descending techniques and high-altitude safety procedures. Personal climbing equipment is checked again before moving higher.

We move higher toward the climbing camp. The ascent is slow and controlled, allowing climbers to conserve energy for the summit attempt. After establishing High Camp, the team prepares equipment and enjoys an early rest in preparation for the following summit push.

13SUMMIT DAY: Kang Yatse II

The most important day of the first expedition objective begins before dawn. Under suitable weather and route conditions, we begin our summit attempt. The climb involves steep high-altitude terrain and requires strong physical fitness, concentration and teamwork. Reaching the summit provides spectacular panoramic views across the Ladakh Himalaya. After spending limited time at the summit, we descend carefully toward Base Camp.

14Reserve Summit / Weather Contingency Day

15Kang Yatse Base Camp → Nimaling

After the first summit objective, we descend toward Nimaling. The lower altitude provides welcome recovery after several demanding days above 5,000 m. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery while relaxing and recovering with the expedition team.

16Nimaling → Kongmaru La → Shang Sumdo

We cross Kongmaru La, one of Ladakh's spectacular high mountain passes. From the pass, weather permitting, magnificent views stretch toward the surrounding Himalayan ranges. We then descend toward Shang Sumdo.

17Shang Sumdo → Leh

Our vehicle picks us up from the trekking area and transfers us back to Leh. A hot shower, comfortable bed and lower altitude provide much-needed recovery. The evening is free for rest.

18Leh → Dzo Jongo East Expedition Area

The second climbing objective begins. We leave Leh and travel toward the Dzo Jongo East expedition area. After reaching the designated camping area, the climbing team establishes camp and begins preparations for the second summit.

19Dzo Jongo East Base Camp

Today we establish ourselves at Dzo Jongo East Base Camp. The team conducts route planning, equipment checks and another comprehensive safety briefing. The remainder of the day is dedicated to acclimatization and rest.

20Acclimatization & Climbing Preparation

We make a controlled acclimatization climb toward higher terrain. This allows the team to prepare for the summit while assessing snow, route and weather conditions. After returning or establishing the higher camp, equipment is prepared for the summit attempt.

21SUMMIT DAY: Dzo Jongo East

Our second major summit objective begins early. Following the climbing leader's assessment, we ascend toward the summit of Dzo Jongo East. This is a challenging high-altitude climb requiring endurance, careful movement and teamwork. After reaching the summit, we descend safely to the lower camp.

22Reserve Summit / Recovery Day

A dedicated contingency day is kept for weather or route conditions. If the summit has already been completed, the day is used for recovery and packing. The climbing leader makes the final decision based on mountain safety.

23Expedition Area → Leh

We complete our descent from the expedition area and return to Leh. The evening is dedicated to relaxation after the successful completion of the two-peak adventure. Enjoy a comfortable hotel, hot shower and well-earned rest.

24Leh Leisure & Cultural Experience

A relaxed recovery day in Leh. Guests can explore local markets, purchase traditional handicrafts and souvenirs, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Himalayan town. This is also a final opportunity to experience Ladakhi culture before leaving the mountain

Morning flight from Leh to New Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax. The evening can be used for final shopping or a short city experience, depending on flight timing.
