Overview
Tsho Rolpa Glacier Lake – Himalayan Blue Odyssey is an exclusive journey into one of Nepal's most beautiful and least-crowded Himalayan valleys. Leaving Kathmandu behind, the journey follows the scenic Tama Koshi corridor before entering the mystical Rolwaling Valley. The trail passes through lush forests, waterfalls, suspension bridges and traditional Sherpa settlements before reaching the high alpine villages of Beding and Na. The grand finale is Tsho Rolpa Glacier Lake, a spectacular turquoise-blue glacial lake surrounded by glaciers and Himalayan peaks. At around 4,580–4,600 m, the lake offers an unforgettable combination of raw wilderness, silence and high-Himalayan beauty.

This extra day gives guests more time to adjust before reaching the high-altitude Tsho Rolpa area.

01ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
Welcome to Nepal. Our premium airport representative will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your luxury hotel by private premium vehicle. After check-in, enjoy a relaxing afternoon. In the evening, your trekking leader will conduct a private briefing covering the route, altitude, accommodation, meals, safety and equipment.
02KATHMANDU HERITAGE EXPERIENCE & TREK PREPARATION
After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy a private cultural experience around Kathmandu Valley. Visit selected UNESCO World Heritage and cultural sites before returning to the hotel. In the afternoon, our team completes your final equipment check, trekking briefing and permit preparation.
03KATHMANDU → CHHETCHHET → SIMIGAUN
After breakfast, leave Kathmandu in your private 4WD. The scenic journey follows the rivers and hills toward Dolakha and Chhetchhet. After reaching the trailhead, begin the first trek toward Simigaun, a beautiful Himalayan village situated on a hillside.
04SIMIGAUN → DONGANG
The trail enters the heart of the Rolwaling Valley. Walk through beautiful rhododendron, pine and mixed Himalayan forests, crossing suspension bridges and following the Rolwaling River. The valley gradually becomes narrower and more dramatic as you approach Dongang.
05DONGANG → BEDING
Today the landscape becomes increasingly alpine. Continue along the Rolwaling River through forests, waterfalls, rocky sections and traditional mountain settlements. Finally arrive at Beding, the largest Sherpa settlement in the Rolwaling Valley. Enjoy the magnificent Himalayan surroundings and experience authentic Sherpa hospitality.
06BEDING → NA GAUN
he trail continues deeper into the upper Rolwaling Valley. The forest gradually disappears and is replaced by alpine grassland, rocky terrain and spectacular Himalayan scenery. Arrive at Na, a traditional seasonal settlement surrounded by high mountains. This is an important altitude-gain day, so the trek is intentionally kept comfortable and controlled.
07PREMIUM ACCLIMATIZATION DAY AT NA
Today is dedicated to acclimatization and Himalayan exploration. After breakfast, enjoy a gradual acclimatization hike around the Na Valley. Depending on weather and group condition, explore nearby viewpoints and traditional grazing areas. Return to Na for a relaxed afternoon. This extra day gives guests more time to adjust before reaching the high-altitude Tsho Rolpa area.
08NA → TSHO ROLPA GLACIER LAKE → NA
Wake early for the most spectacular day of your Himalayan Blue Odyssey. The trail climbs through the high alpine landscape toward Tsho Rolpa Glacier Lake. As you approach the lake, the scenery changes dramatically—glaciers, rocky moraines, snow-covered Himalayan peaks and the extraordinary blue waters of Tsho Rolpa appear before you. Spend quality time at the lake for photography, peaceful exploration and meditation before returning to Na.
09NA → BEDING
After breakfast, begin your descent through the upper Rolwaling Valley. Enjoy a completely different perspective of the landscape as you lose altitude. Return to Beding for a comfortable evening and enjoy traditional Sherpa hospitality.
10BEDING → DONGANG
Continue descending beside the Rolwaling River. The trail once again enters dense Himalayan forest with waterfalls, suspension bridges and beautiful valley views. Enjoy the warmer climate as you gradually descend toward Dongang.
11DONGANG → SIMIGAUN → CHHETCHHET
Today is the final trekking section. Descend through forests and traditional villages toward Simigaun before continuing to Chhetchhet. Your private 4WD will be ready for the next stage of the journey.
12CHHETCHHET → KATHMANDU
Enjoy a comfortable private 4WD journey back toward Kathmandu. Stop at scenic viewpoints and selected local restaurants along the way for a relaxed journey. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your luxury hotel and enjoy a special farewell dinner celebrating your Himalayan Blue Odyssey.
13FINAL DEPARTURE
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have free time for shopping or relaxation. Our private vehicle will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.
