01Arrival in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation

Arrive in Kathmandu, meet your Shailung Trails team, review permits and gear, and rest before the trekking route begins the next day.

02Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

Drive north from Kathmandu along scenic mountain highways through Trishuli bazaar, passing terraced hills, waterfalls, and rivers to reach the trailhead village of Syabrubesi.

03Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel

Cross suspension bridges over the Langtang Khola river and climb steadily through dense forests of oak, maple, and rhododendron to reach Lama Hotel.

04Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village

Continue trekking up through forest trails until the valley widens out. Pass through Ghoda Tabela and continue through yak pastures and traditional stone-walled houses to reach Langtang Village.

05Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa

A short and scenic trek past mani walls, water mills, and yak pastures, climbing gently into the high glacial valley to arrive at Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m).
