Day by day
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Nepal
Arrive in Kathmandu and meet the pilgrimage support team.
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing and briefing
Visit Pashupatinath and Budhanilkantha, then complete the journey briefing.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Nepal-Tibet border
Drive by bus or jeep toward Tatopani or Timure on the Nepal side.
Day 4: Cross border to Kerung or Nyalam
Complete border formalities and continue to Kerung or Nyalam for acclimatization.
Day 5: Kerung/Nyalam to Saga
Drive across the Tibetan plateau to Saga.
Day 6: Saga to Lake Manasarovar
Continue to Lake Manasarovar at the foot of Mount Kailash.
Day 7: Lake Manasarovar to Darchen
Spend time at the sacred lake before driving to Darchen.
Day 8: Darchen to Dirapuk/Zutulpuk route
Begin the Kailash kora route, adjusted by local conditions and permits.
Day 9: Dolma La high pass and Gauri Kund
Cross the high-altitude Dolma La area and pass near sacred Gauri Kund.
Day 10: Return toward Saga
Complete the kora section and drive back toward Saga.
Day 11: Saga to Kathmandu
Return across the border and drive back to Kathmandu.
