Mustang Region
Upper Mustang is a high desert plateau in Nepal's rain-shadow, culturally closer to Tibet than the rest of the country. Its walled former capital, cave complexes and canyon landscapes make it one of Nepal's most visually distinct trekking regions, trekkable even through the summer monsoon.
